Chi Theta Pi is a social sorority founded in 1962 on the campus of Capital University in Columbus, OH. Chi was founded on the five goals of scholarship, christianity, leadership, social, and service. With the ladybugs as their mascot, ladies of chi can often be seen around campus wearing red, black, or sporting some letters proudly across their chest. Chi Theta Pi puts on several different social events each year including Chi Crush Party, Monster Mash, Winter Formal, and our spring formal in Canada! In addition to our social events we do participate in many different service events throughout each year. Chi sponsors a child from the Philippines, Marc Anthony Cruz. This year we are starting a tradition on Capital's Campus by doing Take Back the Night Week. Take Back the Night is an organization that promotes the end of women's violence and sexual abuse. The ladies of Chi also participate in the Ronald Mcdonald House Charity. In addition to those, the ladies of Chi participate in many different walks throughout the year including the Columbus Marathon, The American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, Relay For Life, and several others.
